The newly disclosed direct link between Alabama Power and the Newsome Conspiracy Case is solid and to those in the know a real black-eye.

The civil RICO lawsuit being put together for Newsome could have serious repercussions not only for Balch & Bingham, but the Alabama judiciary system and some of Balch’s top clients, like Southern Company and Alabama Power.

Allegedly, Balch abused their close contacts at Alabama Power to directly target Newsome.

We apologize in advance for the vulgarity, but as one person with knowledge about the facts surrounding the direct link stated, “Is Balch really this fricking stupid? Like no one would connect the dots?”

Now that Southern Company, Alabama Power’s parent company, knows about the details, could they bring a necessary change at Balch & Bingham?

Our inside sources at Alabama Power and Balch tell us that both entities were working overtime this weekend, some late into the evening Friday night and others in the office Sunday morning.

We hope that they were able to verify the facts, and to review internal emails and communications.

The allegations surrounding the direct link are so abominable that the U.S. Department of Justice has also been briefed.

Newsome’s civil RICO lawsuit in-the-making is Balch’s RICO fiasco.

Since we, the CDLU, began to advocate for a resolution in the Newsome Conspiracy Case in early 2017, Balch & Bingham appears to have persistently wanted to show the sheer strength and absolute dominating power they have over Alabama’s legal system.

Instead of settling the Newsome matter, Balch fired the partner who allegedly spearheaded the conspiracy, lied about us in court pleadings, and fought tooth-and-nail to seal the case in its entirety, creating a secretive Star Chamber.

Now, ironically, the manipulation of Alabama’s legal system has become Balch’s biggest liability in the civil RICO matter—secretive Star Chamber and all. And by including (and probably abusing) their biggest clients in the foolish fiasco, the house of lies and manipulation is about to spill open.
