Robersons Victims Again; Drummond Tries to Stall Rebirth for the Third Time

A desperate move by Drummond?

David Roberson originally filed his $75 million lawsuit in the spring of 2019. More than a year and a half later, Judge Tamara Johnson denied Drummond Company’s Motion to Dismiss and their follow-up interlocutory motion.

The rebirth of the North Birmingham Bribery Case has shaken the most powerful players in Alabama.

Today, Drummond Company filed a Writ of Mandamus with the Alabama Supreme Court and an Emergency Stay to block discovery and depositions in the most anticipated civil case for 2021.

Drummond, which has foolishly tried to cross-dress the coal company as a law firm, appears to be in an all-out panic.

Alabama Power, Balch & Bingham, and Drummond Company appear to be using all their institutional weight and stalling tactics at their disposal to block the civil case from proceeding forward.

David and Anna Roberson, who have lost their home, their possessions, their livelihood, and even their prescription drug coverage are the victims once again.

Justice delayed is justice denied.
