Year-End Update: Newsome Conspiracy Case
As the secretive and unconstitutional Star Chamber reaches almost 500 days in existence, the proceedings remain in the dark.
From the 44 retaliatory orders and transcript filed with the Writ of Mandamus last summer, we are confident that the bias, belligerent politico, Judge Carole Smitherman has most likely continued to stick it to Newsome and his legal team.
Would anyone at this juncture expect anything less from a judge and her husband who took in over $30,000 in campaign contributions from Balch-linked entities or PACs?
With a civil RICO suit on the horizon, the can of rotten worms will spill wide open next year. The Star Chamber will be a cornerstone example of the manipulation of the judicial branch.
As investigators probe the abuse under the color of authority linked to Southern Company, national investigative media are looking at the Newsome case, too.
Most interesting to us are the bogus emails, phone messages, and scripted actors who have reached out to us, the CDLU, in recent weeks. Telling wild tales and unsavory comments about Balch or the co-conspirators, including one who fraudulently claimed to be a Balch & Bingham employee, all of them were phony, untrue.
Law enforcement applauded us for ignoring the bogus bait.
Were they desperate acts by worried idiots?
We look forward to continuing our work next year with the media, the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Congress to once and for all expose this miscarriage of justice and abuse of the judiciary branch in Alabama.
We wish all our readers, including our followers at Balch & Bingham, a blessed and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
We will return in 2019.
